The room was spacious with lots of tea and coffee supplies, which was a nice touch. The pressure in the shower was fantastic, and the bed, though made of two singles, provided an enormous and comfortable sleeping space.
The parking situation was tight, making it tough to maneuver in and out. The breakfast was a bit hit-or-miss—while the full English was enjoyable, the eggs were undercooked on my visit. The common areas had a stale odor, and the carpets were definitely due for replacement. The noise from the bar area could be disruptive late into the evening, so don’t expect total peace if you’re near the action.

Lovely Monmouth vibes! 🌉
Room was super clean and comfy, felt like a true home-away-from-home. Breakfast was a total winner—hot and plenty! Staff were just amazing, really looked after us when we arrived.
The bar area could get a bit noisy at night, but it added to the vibe.

The mattress was a bit lumpy, but I had a great night overall.

what a disappointment! i barely slept due to the noisy traffic, and the 'comfortable' bed had a lump like a mountain. air conditioning would’ve been a serious upgrade for the £62 fee. i was expecting some acknowledgment of my troubles, but alas, no complimentary gesture was offered. i almost left a good review, but just couldn’t!

missingWrote a review on Oct 17spacious roomtea suppliescleanliness issues
The room's size allowed for a comfortable stay with plenty of tea and coffee supplies for a mid-morning pick-me-up. The location near the main street offered access to unique shops that made wandering the area enjoyable.
The hotel showed signs of wear, with cleaning standards not meeting expectations, particularly in the bathroom where previous guests' remnants lingered. The mattress in the double room had an unmistakable lump right in the middle, making sleep a challenge, and the shower's water pressure was inconsistent, making it more of a wait than a wash.

A spacious and comfortable stay, with a warm and cozy bed complemented by an easy bathroom layout. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast provided a range of quick options. the cleanliness of the carpets left something to be desired, and the WiFi connection was inconsistent. An upgrade to the TV setup would enhance the experience as well.

The Riverside provided a cozy environment with fresh bedding and white towels. The location is excellent, just a two-minute walk from the town center, making it convenient for any business traveler. The hotel staff were very accommodating, ensuring I had a comfortable stay throughout my time there, and the dining area had a lovely smell of food that seemed appetizing.
The rooms could benefit from a makeover.
